Cumbuco: Where Kitesurfing Dreams Take Flight
Cumbuco, aka “the university of kite” is located on the beautiful north-east coast of Brazil, it is a unique destination and a true paradise for kitesurfing and wingfoiling lovers. Located just 30 km from Fortaleza, in the region of Ceará, Cumbuco is famous for its stable wind and turquoise water that make it a spot for incredible sessions. Always a destination for kitesurfers, it is now also conquering the hearts of numerous wingfoilers.
Long story short, Cumbuco, in addition to its breathtaking sunsets and natural beauty, has what we are looking for, the perfect conditions to progress!
Icaraizinho: Wing Foil Paradise
Icaraizinho de Amontada is one of Brazil’s best-kept secrets — a laid-back fishing village turned wingfoiling haven. Still untouched by mass tourism, this spot offers pristine waters, a chill surf-town vibe, and ideal wind conditions that make it the perfect place to level up your wingfoil game.
It is a small fisherman town on the north coast of Brazil. Located half way between Fortaleza and Jericoacoara it is still a secret gem for watersports enthusiasts. The town has a very good variety of tasty local food restaurants, local artists and vibey hangout setups.
The rounded shape of it’s bay combined with constant 20-30 knots wind, side shore conditions and a very long and wide sandy beach make it ideal for wingfoilers of all levels. Differently from other sport in the north shore of Brazil there is an easy flat access perfect for beginners. In the middle of the bay there is always a lovely break to learn how to ride your first waves. From the spot there are many downwinder routes available. Best setup to take your riding skills to the next level.

Meeting point for transfer for all camps
Fortaleza airport
The meeting point is Fortaleza airport at the time and date you prefer. To allow you maximum flexibility, the flight is not included in the package. You are advised to find a flight that arrives a day earlier of the beginning of the camp, and we will customize your transfer. Fortaleza airport can be reached with direct flights from many European cities such as Lisbon. We will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to the camp location.

Each day begins with breakfast, a weather briefing, and a personalized plan with lessons tailored to your level — including lagoon sessions and pro coaching.
Evenings are all about recovery, great food, group stretching, a BBQ night, and a fun party to celebrate your progress.

Whether you're an independent rider or a total beginner, we’ve got you covered.
Intermediate/Advanced riders can bring their own gear and enjoy 8 hours of coaching with on-beach support.
Beginners receive an 8-hour foundational course with full equipment provided during lessons.
Extra lesson hours and equipment rental can be added if desired.

About Us
These camps are organized and powered by Surf Club Keros and Progresso Camps.
Surf Club Keros runs a renowned watersports resort in Limnos, Greece, founded by passionate wind and wave riders Konstantinos, Giannis, and Rick.
They’ve traveled extensively to the world’s top surf and kite spots, bringing global experience to every camp.
Yanni, founder of Progresso Camps, is an IKO Level 3 Instructor and IWO Coach with a Master’s in Tourism Management. Since 2010, he has been teaching and running kite schools with a strong focus on progression and safety.
For Yanni, Cumbuco is the ultimate spot — thanks to its perfect conditions, vibrant culture, and inspiring community.
